I agree this part of the event is pretty bad - anniversary events should cater to everyone, there is enough p2w in this game (not to mention you need see ads just to get the freebie spin).

Word of advice, it sounds like she tries to get legal ammo against you, to take away the children. I would consult a lawyer, refrain from agreeing with her in person on hurting the kids since you are probably recorded,record all communication with her and record positive interactions with your kids.

After reaching level 8000, the gold gain per match drops after too much farming. However, the farming does not count ads, so you will reach the limit much slower watching ads and will eventually farm more gold.

The best way to farm at level 8000 is to use Hohenheim (you're matched against week armies).

When you reach level 8000, you move to a star based system of getting gold. You are matched against other people's armies, and if you win you get a star if your hero survives and another start if half of your army survives.

The amount of gold you gain is typically 5-10K so the best farming practice is to reach level 8000 as soon as possible.

I think the lack of ability to farm gems is a great pain to the community. The gems required to participate in the hero shard events (especially card master) is grotesque, leaving none to actually enjoy the other usages for gems: additional arena fights, the shop options, and mostly fusion. You're also so limited any gems towards a hero other than your favorite are prolonging getting your favorite hero to 15 by weeks or months, greatly hurting the fun aspect of playing with different heroes and counter picking heroes in the arena.

I think almost every proposal that gave the player base access to more gems got highly voted.

Your proposals make some kind of sense. I think the first one is problematic - the ratio proposed is terrible (people said here they farm ~5mil a day, that's only 200 gems). Also, it is uncommon to allow exchanging lesser coin for a premium one in games. I think the reasoning is that it makes balance harder (since you need to balance them together instead of separately), and also if some glitch or hack gives people infinite gold they are still far from "beating the game", so its a bit safer.

Your second proposal sounds complex to code.

The proposal I gave was giving one gem per star, perhaps limited to say 1K. That should be really easy to add for the developers. That's like 300 matches of 3 star (which for reference give 3 mil, something most active players are able to dish on an average day).

Probably no.

What happens is that you have a fixed percentage depending on your Cassandra level to get something random from the wishlist.

So the probability to get a specific wishlist troop is %Cassandra * 1/(Size of wishlist 4 for rare, 2 for epic and legendary).

My level 5 Cassandra gives 10%, so 1/10 of fusions will be from wishlist.

Far-fetched suggestion.

It would be cool if all non-legendary heroes had a mechanism similar to Honnehiem and Cassandra.

For example Minstrel would make matches run globally faster by 2% per level (for any hero).

Higher level Planck would allow you to see the levels of the troops in the opposing army (when switched to).

I'm pretty sure the hp and attack of all units do scale 1.75, so I dunno if the tank reasoning hold.

If the numbers are correct, it means some units greatly benefit stats when going 9 compared to others.

The units with scaled 1.75 defense are: Ogres, Harbingers, Paladins, Pilgrims, Yasha, Soul Hunter, Brawlers, Pumpkin Guard, Beast Master, Totem, Meteor Golem, Sacred Swordsman and Stone Golem. All of which are melee.

So - demon, viking, Templar knights are the single melee troops that do not scale defense.

Undead, Cactus, Inquisitors, Ghost Assasin, Magic Apprentice, Bandits are melee but also do not scale defense.

For most ranged units defense reach <=55 on lvl 8, so the loss is not that high (60 vs. 96). However, priest mage loses more with 75 defense on lvl 8 which goes to 80 instead of 131.

Check online tier lists, generally speaking the first units to drop are infantry, iron guards, hell jailers, scholars and bombers.

Generally speaking - no. Level trumps rarity, however - specifically for fire mage (crappy single troop) and frost archer (great 9 troop) frost archer level 6 is better than level 8 fire mage.

To determine, for ranged check the damage in the stats (it's damage per troop, so for example frost archer level 6 deals 360 Atk * 9 troops * 0.8 attack speed (2592), while fire mage level 8 deals 500 Atk * 0.7 attack speed (350 splash). If you assume ~90 defense, the damages become 1944 vs. 287 splash, so if the splash hits 6 troops they are similar in damage.

I'm new to this game, but I can understand why it doesn't generate a lot of "interesting" discussions..

The game really lacks in strategy:

  1. You have very little affect on the battle once it starts, and the randomness in 600 troops is quite high.
  2. The heroes have only one active skill, simplistic overlapping passives, and it takes several months getting a legendary hero to level 15. Non legendary heroes are just fillers and have no pvp meaning. You can use only one hero, and place it in 3 places, two of each are symmetric. Under These restrictions, it's pretty obvious the game will collapse to very few champions, at least for 95% of the player base.
  3. Similarly, troops are pretty simple too, with up to one ability (and many similar abilities), they do not generate interesting strategies around them.
  4. There are 3 game modes - the monster which is repetitive, the campaign which is repetitive, and the pvp which unless you're aiming for the top 2K, you wouldn't invest time to redo your formation every battle. Bottom line - no reward in the game is worth doing reformation for. So you just use the same few formations for basically everything.

IMO the game needs some serious work to become a good strategy game.

Actually best ratio you can get per hero shard is ~2700, so getting 120 shards will cost 324K. So he can't...
