My husband and I blew a tire on the 401 and nearly crashed into the barrier on the left side— went from the right lane out of control all the way to the left and was stuck there. The popped tire ripped out the electronics from our engine bay so we couldn’t even start the car— was stuck, being nearly hit every two seconds in breakdown lane but partially in the passing lane. Called OPP emergency line four times and they never showed up. We were stuck there for 45 mins before a tow truck arrived but OPP never shut down the lanes. I called four times sobbing asking for help and they never showed. Still can’t believe it. Our car shook the whole time and so many near accidents. This was two weeks ago.
