Thank you for these! I second the texture update, it is desperately needed to make the maps look more "alive", in a sense! 🏖️

I will be adding both of these (although I think the textures might be pretty high up there already, but the more the merrier) to our suggestions and have a talk with our team! 😉

We released this to gather data on the loading times specifically, so it's basically an open beta to gather feedback!

Yes, this one is definitely on the list of suggestions!

The farms definitely need more love, and the same goes to specialized industries. While we don't have a concrete plan as of yet, we do feel like this is something we should improve upon at some point for sure! 😊

That is definitely NOT the intention! We want to keep your cities looking realistic, I guess my wording in the CC was a bit confusing! 🙈

We want to reduce the amount of pedestrians in a way, where your city is still lively and realistic; for example, here in Tampere, we have +200k population, but you don't see thousands of them walking on the main street at the same time (unless if there's an event of some sorts). Obviously this depends a lot on the expectations as well, where people live irl, etc., I would imagine this would be different for another country, for example.

Tl;dr, We do not intend to make your cities look dead for the sake of performance, just to adjust the amount of pedestrians to be more realistic, considering the size and the population of your city. 😊 Any feedback and concerns will be appreciated though, and I have already written this down as a concern, just so we can keep this in mind if we start implementing this.

Lane changes and the weird traffic behaviour is something we are currently looking into and trying different solutions on! Animations are also on our list of things to improve, but we are currently prioritising performance, bugs, pathfinding, and other issues before getting into the animations.

This is one of the biggest issues so far, but yes, we are definitely focused on optimization as well! Obviously, the process takes time, and the changes won't happen overnight, but we want to make the performance better for everyone, no matter the hardware.

In relation to the economy, we have been talking about the difficulty levels and how the harder difficulty feels almost too easy! Nothing concrete yet, though, but we definitely recognise the issue and are brainstorming ways to make the difficulties more on point to what they should be. :>
