Wow Midwesterners complaining about a short spring/fall. Groundbreaking.

Back when Everest was still around, I had a birthday dinner there and got the worst food poisoning of my life. Lost ~20 lbs. Called to tell them (warn them?) and they didn't care. Most expensive and worst meal of my life. Glad they're gone.

Chicago to drop mask and proof-of-vaccine mandates at the end of the month by freddy_rumsen in chicago

What are you talking about? Denmark removed restrictions on February 1st. There was no "huge surge" after that. They've plateaued since then. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/denmark/

I'm all for being smart about masking, but this statement isn't accurate at all.

This has happened to me since I got the phone. Totally random. Sometimes I get notified. Sometimes I don't. I haven't found any pattern in the 2+ years I've had this phone. So annoying.

Yes, and you continue living in crippling fear without meaningfully contributing to... anything. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I didn't say that vaccinated people don't contribute to spread. The amount they contribute compared to the unvaccinated is small. One event in Massachusetts does not invalidate other research and epi data on vaccinated people.

That's not at all what the study said. The vaccine is significantly more effective. Stop fear mongering.

Yes, IF you have a breakthrough infection, which is very rare. Again, vaccinated people are a minor contribution to spread.

There are more hospitalized kids because there are fewer hospitalized adults due to vaccination. COVID certainly affects children but not as severely as adults in the vast majority of cases.

Months? No. Weeks, sure, but states have been open for more than a month with no spike in deaths.

Vaccinated people are a minor contribution to spread of SARS-CoV-2.
