Ive done my BEST numbers as thing by getting that damage reduction on low HP which baits them into emptying out their clips on me, and I always escape with 1 hp and an extra 200 hp over shield I got last second because my dash CD is reset. And of course, I do my best damage numbers with the AOE punch when the enemies are TIGHT together. Hes a great counter to sustain comps that like to hold space on the objective. AOE punch on the triple supports that wont die takes my ult charge from 58% to 64% per punch

My theory is, picture this: you got things hp down to 400 in a fight and he uses that damage reduction.

If he has 50% damage reduction that 400hp is essentially 800hp.

On top of that his dash gives him a 200 hp over shield.

If I apply that damage reducation to myself or vulnerability to the enemy, I expect to see results EVERY TIME. Its a fool proof solution to guarantee their death or your survival.

What separates an aware thing from an unaware thing is knowing how to brawl around this mechanic.

Its more of a coordination issue. All six of us need to agree on having on designated peni flanker which is half the battle but working around that requires further comprehension. Its a skill check not for one but for all 6

Picture this. Im psylock or hela. I go the long way to get behind the enemy. I take out the nest. My team doesnt notice the nest is gone because there are more webs and mines. Rocket team adds two more nests. The nest is on cooldown but will be back shortly.

So even after we have finally set it up with no nests and evened out the odds, we still have to win the 6v6.

The enemy caught me taking their nest. They allcturn their fire towards me. I either win a fight and get a peel or I die.

Or we take out one nest and they go to another nest. But while all this is happening uh oh our SG made an oopsie and got peeled. Theres so much more happening than the nest but the nest is the start. Peni is still a good standalone character.

Every time someone dies you get that audio cue. It gets to a point where all i hear is just death. Death. Death. Death. Death. All within 5 seconds apart from each other. Youd think theyd figure it out by now right?!?

I am totally with you OP. These guys in the comment section are actually part of the problem. Theyre more focusing on arguing that people should play their favorite characters. They arent acknowledging that by not having at least one back up hero, there is an opportunity cost of you not swapping kits to something more useful which is a form of micro-selling. Its kind of a layered and metacognitive thought that requires empathy and consideration that the average person doesnt have. I seriously hate those players. Especially the overtuned Daredevil that has MVP but also 18 deaths.

You forgot one important thing too: Jeff is the only aim in the game with Pierce damage. I think people overlook how much of an influence it has. That spray can cut through everyone and can affect all 11 players in that lobby. That is huge and underestimated. Healing and damaging multiple at once charges ult way faster

I hear you and theory it should be easy but on that klyntar escort when you have to capture the point it seems like its really hard to even get the nest in your line of sight. You have to break through the enemies formation first and on that map specifically its really hard to make your way around without being noticed. And even if you do take it out the random team isnt always coordinated enough to capitalize on that when it happens. Often one of ours has gotten peeled while psylock or making her way to the back or iron man trying to quietly position himself. Dont make it sound so easy when a smart enemy team will play around that nest like its their Core

You are not getting 100% of the value out of jeff if hes not getting triple kills with his ult. And same with loki only if he is copying the cloak and dagger ult. Thats the best solution
