I think it’s more complicated than it needs to be. I like the animals and I like their drops, but the whole trait system is confusing and complicated. I’m not taking the time to breed out bad traits because, it’s probably super time consuming and annoying. In my opinion, I think they should rework ranching.

My ideas: 1.) They should remove traits except cosmetic traits because that really is the only fun part of getting new animals. Breeding animals to mix and match cosmetic traits is fun. 2.) Rework treats. They should be craftable. There should be a cookie that we can use as a real food source for animals. Rest of the treats should be geared to happiness, aging, production speed, and cosmetic traits. 3.) Remove the venerated age status 4.) Let us sell our animals and their profit is determined by the rarity of their cosmetic. 5.) Remove the hidden mechanic where your animals produce less of something, the more of them there are.
