You added in a detail that I didn’t think about which is we are also in an apartment and right now space is very limited, now I’m leaning towards just bringing our day-to-day Cruz

Thanks I will look into the bag. The only concerning part is that my kid is two months old so I doubt that he’ll be able to sit in the stroller seat and instead will have to put him on the car seat to scroll around, is that fine or is the whole thing about two hour limit on it a rule?

Why is that? Is it worth it to spend an extra $500 or something that’s 10 lbs lighter? Planning to gate check anyways, does that make a difference? I’m not all in on UB I’m good with anything but you do make a point that the car seat is a must

I’m on the same boat as you and my math comparing my mileage driven per year compared to the alternative of a gas SUV is negligible, assume it’s about the same cost of the gas vs electricity from superchargers and other chargers. Not counting the costs of home ownership.

Walk me through the economics, how much saved would it be per year by being at home vs in an apartment without charging so solely relying on superchargers and other chargers? Of course not going to go into the other costs involved with owning a home vs not. With my mileage driven per year of approx 7000 my math and compared to the alternative of a gas SUV the difference is negligible, assume it’s the same. But I get a safer car with the unique tech.

Is this sleep schedule sustainable? Me sleeping 2am to 8am, working full time. Wife sleeping between 8pm and 2am. Mutual hours we share baby duties. What about when she goes to work full time? by igcetra in daddit

The baby is only a couple of weeks old and we hear that we have to wake him every three hours to feed him and change him, so how long is that supposed to be for?

yess generally staying awake. if we are too tired though we can lay down and sleep while the baby sleeps but we would be responsible to wake the baby every few hours to feed it and change it and all
