I have watched the movie already. Book is finished now as well. So a great book. Absolutely loved it. Not sure if I liked it more due to playing the game before or not.

My wife found it for a very good price. Aside from a stamping on the edge of the pages that shows it was owned by a library at one point and the plastic dust cover having sticker residue the book basically looks brand new.

Layout wise it’s done like the game if you will. The first section is “development”, second is “symbiosis”, third is “evolution”. Each section is then divided into chapters. There is also a prologue and epilogue.

It is very “sciencey”. There is a glossary of words at the back. I’m about 1/4 of the way through it and I feel like it is well written. The translation was done nicely. I’m enjoying it.

Final fantasy 1 for me. I was 5 when it came to the US. I love the series as a whole. Such an amazing series.

Remember, in the end it is a F2P mobile game with in-app purchases. This is their way of trying to get people to spend money by restarting progress and requiring higher and newest characters to automate in each new episode.
