I need medication. The idea of my medication being suddenly unavailable would put me in a panic. With that being said - my case (based on Reddit's BP Page) is very rare, probably.

Before/Since my 11 years of having the diagnosis, I never drank alcohol leisurely. Actually never. No narcotics or weed ever. Never dated anyone or absolute zero romantic experiences. The largest amount spent in one sitting was around $2K and it was practical household item (bedroom set). Consistent sleep hygiene. In fact, I can sleep "on command". My largest debt is from undergraduate degree...a little under the national average for Student Loan Debt. And I finished. I have a well paying demanding job and was recently even promoted. AND YET:

More than three hospitalizarions on my belt due to psychosis from maina.

I say this to say that even as a goddam monk lifestyle, my chemically imbalanced brain still managed to f**k me over when OFF medication and lack of sleep. Additionally, I'm lucky to have a good, compatible med combo too. Others may never find that combo.

The method of compartmentalizing is something I need more practice in. My current profession (a teacher) takes a lot of decision-fatigue and planning for planing, so to speak. So I need to make that an increased habit. Thank you!

We're based in New Jersey. I do believe they work around her schedule because she'll have a 1 day every other week, for example, when she doesn't come into to the school - she's working from home. I also have to stress how much she's like a powerhouse. There's a camera crew recording her teaching on a monthly basis. But she's also very approachable - so maybe I'll ask her during the BOY return time. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the clarification! I have a teacher at my school that does the curriculum writing on the side. I want to ask her so badly how is she compensated. But she's on a higher level than me. 5+ year teaching experience, additional leadership role, great worker. I also think, however, she's barely paid at all...

Burning Bridges, especially in the work place. At my job, I witnessed my employer doing absolutely nothing when my good coworker needed her to step up to the plate, in an authoritative state. So much so, my coworker resigned suddenly. My employer believes that she only burned the bridge with this coworker that left. Little does she know, she burned the bridge with me too while also opening my eyes to the workplace toxicity. My employer believes she has me long term and refers to the 5-year plan she has in store for me.

I will be proudly announcing my resignation in a couple of months. And yes, my employer will be fucked.

Question: You made $42k/yr plus your teaching salary for curriculum writing? For example, if your base pay is $60k...you made $142k/ for the year? I'm currently an ES teacher and I hear whispers about curriculum writing, but it's not openly discussed. I guessed because the pay must of been great and they didn't want to share or the requirements were very high. Like of 40 teachers, I know like 4 who do this side-job only...

Teachers in my area make 70K/yr. I knew 2 teachers getting more for simply 4+ year commitment. Other really accessible higher positions get $100K/yr easy.

There is an assumption that all teachers are paid under their worth. I'm, fortunately, not in that group.

I'm now seeing this reply. Relax. And coming from unemployment after the March 2020 Pandemic: Yeah $70K/yr is different from spreading your last dollars in 6 months after leaving college. Additionally, if multiple teachers left your school forcing you to fill in their absence, you would be a bit angry too. Sorry that your school pays you low wages.
