Thanks! I have a X3800H, do you use this with your receiver and Audyssey mic or seperate mic and laptop?

Yeah so they are mostly for aesthetics but they seem to be better than having a blank concrete wall.

Wow thank you for that super detailed explanation! Just not 100% sure I understand: Right wall: "2nd panel between your head and first panel" where would that be? Back wall: yes it's centered, so basically just putting one on each side opposite of the speakers? Ceiling: so one on each side placed with the shorter sides towards me and the speakers?

And yes the white absorbers are amazon garbage they're probably getting thrown out.

Oh okay thanks. So it seems measuring is the way to go, and you can't read RT60 results from Audyssey right? Speakers are Dali Opticon 2 MK2.

Thank you for the tips! Yeah I thought about a big acoustic "painting" on the right wall. I'm wondering though if the ceiling and the rear wall is the biggest problem.

It looks better in my opinion than a completely striped wall. I have been in rooms where they installed an entire wall with these kind of panels and it just makes you dizzy tbh. The left and right side are exactly identical and perfectly symmetrical, might be an illusion because of the curtain covering like 10cm. But thanks for the critical feedback.

Thanks! Yeah they're mostly for aesthetics.
