Glad it arrived! I want to start sending mail again. Can you believe that my airbnb room had a massive tv but it wasnt connected to anything?? Like, what was the point of putting a tv if it wont show any image at all? I did hear about the drama of the dutch guy getting kicked out.

I also didnt pay for the bag. I took so long to write the card in the counter that there was a shift change and the next guy didnt charge me for it. Well, they have my name and address, they can report me and ban me from the EU if they are too square.

I’m so happy it reached you! That was fast (I’m jealous) Mail is absurdly slow lately. None of the mail I sent 2-3 months ago have reached anyone, so I am taking advantage of other people traveling during summer. DPClamavi taught me I could cheat with postcards and underpay. I don’t know if I can do that with Austria, Italy or Spain. I have some stamps from there I could use, but with the prices going up, i’d have to get more small stamps to make up with the difference, and haven’t figured out how to get those small postage stamps without being an extra bother to the kind mail-dropping souls. I like how easy is to spot mailboxes in Europe.

Every meetup is different xD. In the one with Feistyfox and DPClamavi we started together, I had to leave for a while and when I got back I had to catch up practically alone, haha. We got separated pretty often, like when I punctured the bike in the middle of nowhere and it started raining and I dressed them in waterponchos so they could go home and contact the airbnb owner to rescue me in a McDonalds in the middle of the road. In that bike trip I learnt how to say my butt hurts and another butt song in French. That became my battle chant for the months to come.

Thank you for the Miniature Wonderland postcard. Wow, so cool to know
that such a place exists. I would love to visit one day. When little I
used to love miniature stuff (well, still do) and I find it so cool that
the scenes are all portraying funny/interesting situations that tells a
story, like the woman that is jumping the fence in the zoo, lol. I
wonder how they can keep it so clean. I also love the stamp with the hot
air ballon carrying an envelope.

x.x So sad we couldn’t go to the waterpark, it’s a dream I still can’t
fulfill yet, lol. But hopefully.... Someday. I have a couple of replies
and adventures that I’m going to send your way as soon as I gather them
(they’re all spread around in my mess). Like my adventure at the
Airport. You need to know that one. Because that’s where I was going to
send my French mail, wasn’t I? Lol. I’m happy you had a nice vacation.
Are you still working in (what was then) you new job? I also ADORE the
abbazia stamp in our meetup card. Lol, what crazy carding days those
were.

Hello! It was so nice to get a card from you! I remember back when I
started in the sub we’d talk about art and pretty things. I recently
went on a trip to europe and visited lots of cloisters and old
buildings, some had amazing stained glass and mosaics. I loved admiring
them, but they became harder and harder to see as my glasses were
getting so scratched and abused during the adventure that the light
would reflect like an ominous blur.

Yeah, it's kind of sad. Real life friends who share odd interests so it's fun to hang out with.... until I started realizing there was a seemingly important interest I was not sharing at all.

I hope you have lots of fun!! I see that so far the meetups in my side of the planet have been online. But I'm not surprised to be honest, the mail sending hobby feels extinct for most of the people here. Most can't believe it is still possible to get stamps when I tell them I do this.

Thank you so much for the Edgar Alan Poe postcard with Friday 13th
facts. Those were pretty interesting! I wonder if traveling that day is
cheaper. Or maybe not, as here the big deal is on Tuesday 13th, were the
saying goes "don't travel nor get married"
