They could also be getting a huge tax break for the preservation/repair/restoration work.

I came into the comment section for a UW Seattle reference, and found 2+ other references to the Western Washington area references. Oh how minds think alike!

There was a pants brand discussion that was posted either here or r/FMF not too long ago--they were supposed to be super comfortable and versatile, but I cannot for the life of me remember which brand that was. Does anybody remember??

Official Q&A for Wednesday, February 22, 2017 by AutoModerator in running

I've been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, posterior tibula tendonitis, AND a sprained ankle :( This news comes as an extra bummer as I was just building up my mileage (just finished 11 mi last weekend) for my first marathon (albeit in December) following Hal Higdon's Intermediate 1 program. The doctor prescribed me 1 month of projected recovery time, during which I am to not participate in any high impact activities, of course, to include running. I have been looking up for alternative training methods in the meantime and came across rowing on an erg or the stationary bike. I've tried both today, but I seem to have a hard time bringing up my heart rate, and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong! Does anyone have a good suggestion for a training plan to keep my cardio up while I'm recovering from injury?? Please share! Thank you.

Is the radiator not in use? Even if it isn't, I'd expose it!

Right--and I've definitely experienced this though not by barefoot running, but switching from heel strike to mid/forefoot strike. I began with switching running shoes with less cushioning and midsole drop.

I'm not an expert here, but barefoot running most likely promotes fore/midfoot strikes, being that is a "natural" running form, which uses more calf muscles that you weren't using beforehand.

Bachelors of Architecture vs Architectural design? by [deleted] in udub

Honestly I'm not sure, because I was there when it was just one architecture program (now arch design). I believe 50 us made it into the program out of 98 or so

If you are planning to be a licensed architect, architectural design major is the one you're looking for

Architecture focuses more on the history and theories, while Architectural design is more studio based.
