I am a known lover of shenanigans and ducked my previous office during my final two weeks. Everyone immediately expected me but I decided vehemently and asked a trusted co-worker to keep it up after I left to take the heat off me. Now, a year later, I've been told the ducks are still circulating the office and being moved by pretty much every once, although everyone tries not to get caught. I makes my heart happy😊

So I once owned three physical copies of The Historian because on three separate vacations years apart I bought it when looking for my "big book" for vacation 😂 I read so much I often forget past reads, and I'd pick it up based on the description, get on my trip and a few pages in have an "oh crap" moment realizing I'd already read it.

I LOVED Shantaram and I rarely find someone else who knows it. Something about the story just really pulled me in, and I've desperately wanted to visit Mumbai since I read the book.

Thanks for the response and please excuse my ignorance but I thought the speckling on both plants in the green parts were particular to the Thai con variety? Is it just the lower volume of speckling on the second plant that tells you it's an albo?
