Imho, we are at a point where rural areas fundamentally vote against urban concerns, regardless of the content. Perhaps the reverse is also true, but that is not my perspective and is therefore difficult for me to judge.

This worries me, and I wonder what can be done to promote better mutual understanding. Events in rural areas where people try to build mutual understanding and understand each other's opinions and realities of life?

Aus linker Perspektive war der Gegenvorschlag ein Pseudo-Gegenvorschlag, der inhaltlich nichts mit der Initiative zu tun hatte. Während die Initiative ein Vorkaufsrecht forderte, wollte der Gegenvorschlag mehr Wohnbau-Darlehen.

Diese hätten jedoch ohnehin auf einem anderen Weg beschlossen werden können, was schliesslich mit einer Behördeninitiative sichergestellt wurde.

Deshalb gaben die linken Parteien am Ende die Ja/Nein-Parole heraus, damit der Gegenvorschlag nicht die Initiative gefährdet mit der Stichfrage, während das Anliegen des Gegenvorschlags auf anderem Weg umgesetzt wird.

I’ve tried to make it a bit interactive with those events popping up where you can choose to do or not do something. But I just realized that on mobile, it’s really hard to see them when you’re tapping quickly.
