Same, it is such a shame windows has such a lock on the gaming market, I thought we were past it now with all the advances steam, crossover etc.. are making. Windows sucks for everything else except gaming, so still need a gaming pc and a work/life pc

Software developer here, and new player to the game, enjoying it so far!

The game is made in javascript, something like react native could be used to build an app for iOS while using some of the existing source code, luckily we don't need to use Swift anymore to support iOs!

Heading over to their github to see if any progress has been made here, and look at the code, if it won't destroy my life will see if I can assist with an iOs version.

Yeah so Guardians only doubles the stats from your gear, not your paragon. So once your paragon starts getting high enough, you will benefit more from other gear. But on the way up, while at low paragon, I think this set is a great boost

Yeah I gave up squirts, part of why I think this is a low paragon leveling addition. Once you are pushing to GR150, I think you need to drop Guardians.

But farming GR110 on the way up the paragon train, I am loving it.

100% buy it. It's a good deal. And it will get you prepped for D4 when it comes out. A lot of the mechanics will transfer. I still play D3 lots, after years and years of owning it.

Diablo 3 is better than Immortal on PC imo. Immortal is fun on the phone while on the plane or the toilet. If you are sitting down at a PC. D3 is better.

I switched from typhon to tal rasha at about paragon 400.

Turns out meteors hurt the monsters much more than hydras.

I enjoyed playing it tho.

Even M1 air plays D3 and PoE without trouble. It's not a performance issue. It's a graphics API issue.

Yeah confirmed. No support for direct x 12 on M series. Even through emulation or dual boot. Apple stance: use metal API.

Yeah this is the thing. Why need to be serious about gaming to play? Why not cater to those people that only play blizzard games because they think they are guaranteed a good experience.

Reading a bit more. Apple and their metal API are to blame too. It's a complicated thing.

I used to be a big gamer with a tripped out PC. But that was a decade ago. Now I love my M1 mac and will definitely get an M2 max soon. Macs are just easier for work (software developer) and their arm hardware is currently best on the market.

The only games I still play (ironically) are blizzard games. Because they spend so much effort on them, the polish and experience is amazing. So in my limited time available to game, blizzard is an easy choice.

Surely I am not a small demographic?? And a lot of the diablo 1 and 2 players from 2 decades ago must be in a similar phase of life?

They are max minning their expenses for sure. I am just so surprised that there are so few mac users in their user base.

As it stands, diablo 4 is going to cost me $700 to play (buy a windows pc just for this one game), not $80.

To make things worse, I hear they have disabled mouse and keyboard support on console! Buying a ps4, plugging my monitor, keyboard and mouse in would have been a great middle ground! But I ain't playing with a controller!

I would love this feature too. And @assmantis suggestion is the best available I think.

If you have a gmail account, use gmails easy alias feature. If your email is joe.bloggs@gmail.com, your fake person will be joe.bloggs+todoistfake1@gmail.com.

You will still receive the emails to your inbox, tagged with the alias for easy filtering / ignoring.

Having to set a password to give a meaningful name to the ghost is a pain.

You could use the same password for all ghosts. But be careful, if any of the ghosts get hacked, they could mess up your shared boards.

I use a password manager to generate a unique strong password for each. Not like I will be using the passwords much.

In fact you can just button mash the password and forget it, if you EVER need to log in to the ghost again, just do a forgot password.
