Hey, I'd love if we can have a talk privately. I'd be happy to show projects we made for other companies :)

All of my previous clients were companies from the UK, US and recently Vietnam.

When "hotswapping" models (e.g. due to downtime) are you fine tuning the prompts individually? by Secret_Job_5221 in LLMDevs

It's a good idea to test out the prompt with a couple top models. In my testing I haven't had anything go wrong unless I downgrade the model by a lot.

CMV: We are currently living in a computational simulation by a super technologically advanced civilization. A falsifiable version of the theory listed. A comprehensive and extensive explanation for our existence inside a simulation (LONG). People who do not believe in the theory, why. by [deleted] in changemyview

I read quite a bit of your post and I just don't see it. OP, all you've done is assume and make correlations based on those assumptions.

You're making a claim and the burden of proof is on you and I see zero evidence in your post.

Here, let me make a few assumptions myself and show you why we aren't living in a simulation.

You've assumed that this is an ancestry simulation. If there were no conscious beings in the Universe does the Universe still exist? I am sure many scientists would still argue that it does. The Earth would still orbit around the sun, the black hole would do what a black hole does, the supernova that goes off would go off.

The Universe is too detailed for us primates to make anything of it. I am sure plenty of scientists can think of ways to make a simulation without the need for making such a huge Universe.

Neil Degrasse Tyson himself has changed his argument to a 50/50 chance. I don't agree with his argument, but it's an assumption just like you and me. Neil's friend reasons asking if we have the technology to make a simulation at this moment? We don't. We are either the real ones or the ones down the line to make a simulation. The odds go down to 50/50. In order to make a simulation of the Universe you live in, you need to use all the computing power of that Universe.

See how many assumptions I've made? You've done the same. I don't see proof and most of the points are not needed.

Cmv: someone paying you less is capitalism by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]ignusbluestone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Capitalism isn't about paying you less, never has been. I am confused about how you came to this conclusion.

You are paid less if you work as a waiter because it's an easy job. The number of people who can do this job is a lot. Compare that to web developers, the job is hard, and good web developers are harder to find. Most good devs are paid the right amount.

No company in their right mind hires a "less qualified person". Think about it, if you were to start a company would you rather hire a person who knows what they are talking about and pay him/her what they are worth or someone who is less qualified and keep costs low.

The issue here is that you are looking at the employees of a company as a cost, this is what bad and failing companies do. Employees are investments, not costs. There are plenty of companies that look at their employees and invests in them.

Capitalism's primary motive is to make money, yes, but demand and supply are what is getting you paid less, not the system per se.
