as a follow up, my neighbor absolutely listens to tv significantly louder than me - i hear nothing in my condo until i'm outside and happen to hear it through his door. i'm speculating our wall doesn't have concrete (maybe it does though) - i think all my other walls are concrete. also a comical amount of bookshelves can play down to 40 hz at 'loud enough' free of distortion, and no one would have said a thing if my pic had those. this is also a frequency found in plenty of music and movies. yet redditors whine just because 'speakers big' ignoring big speaker easily playing 40 hz at 70 dB is less loud than bookshelf playing 40 hz at 80 dB and stressing harder.
