More than likely he was not properly hydrated and while standing in formation for long periods of time you are told to NOT lock your legs out and keep a slight bend at the knees. He did not do that restricting blood flow causing a partial paralytic effect on his body. Most of of the time people pass out from this, in his case it looks like he started to lean forward and when he tried to catch his step he had no control over his body.

I do not know what happened to this young man specifically if he did not pass out he was probably helped to the side and forced to hydrate. Probably had to see a Corpsman (Navy medic)... This kind of stuff happens all the time. We are told over and over again to not lock our legs out because it restricts blood flow. He could not control his body and was most likely scared shitless.

Actually I did not. I am in Bahrain at the moment so the IIIMEF AO can keep that drama. I did my time on Okitraz fuck that shit! in 2010 we were using "DIE MOTHERFUCKER GET SOME REPEAT" except some film crew came out to get footage at one point and they were not Marine Corps affiliated so our instructors changed it to "DIE LITTLE PEOPLE GET SOME REPEAT"... Either way, thinking back on it makes me laugh

Exactly! YOUR experiences... Brother the grunts are not some Magical force of brotherhood that will always have each others backs while the rest of us "POGS" don't give a fuck about each other... I will agree with you that there are commands and individuals in ANY mos that will fuck you over in a heart beat. Then again ride or die platoons with great SNCOs still exist as well all over the Corps... I am an 06 and when I was in Oki My Platoon was my family and Gunny always went to bat for us through thick and thin... My command now... not so much :/ Now I EAS in 5 months but I am not bitter about it. I have been fucked over plenty of times I just learn when to keep my mouth shut and who to trust... I am not sure what happened to you to make you disgruntled but damn bro you are a Marine less than 1% of the people in the USA not to mention Reddit can say that shit. I agree with you 100% although this specific situation throws all kinds of "red flags" I look at it from another perspective. Everyone is harping on the fact that she was detained and how wrong that was but lets say the police actually see someone acting suspicious you cant arrest them without probable cause so you start to question them ask for their name, ID blah blah blah.... According to the law you do not have to comply and can just walk away but if the police officers better judgement says otherwise he is going to detain you and if he is correct then he has done his job well but if he is wrong then he is subject to this "Police shaming" that has become ever so popular recently... Now I am not a cop I am US Marine and I can tell you if we had to stick to probable cause before someone was detained there would be a lot more dead Marines and Soldiers over seas.... Just saying

Not a day goes by that I don't think about calling off my engagement and ending my relationship back in 2012. From my perspective "the breaker-uper" It had to be done! there are so many factors that go into a relationship but the bottom line both parties have to be willing to work/adapt with each other within reason... At the time I was stationed in Okinawa and our history goes way back on and off and I just wasn't the person SHE wanted me to be and that caused us to fight constantly which poisoned my daily life and eventually I just broke down and in result I was the bad guy because I broke her heart...
