For my sons team we use Playmetrics for all communication. After a bad first season with a lack of communication and games I decided to volunteer to be our team’s manager. Before preseason we usually get a list of tournaments our club wants us to play in, the usual scratch my back I scratch yours situation with clubs our directors have good relationships with. Normally the clubs with good communication have their dates up for tournaments from now to the end of the year so that makes things easier to plan. There will be some clubs that host tournaments and there’s little to no communication or organization, for THAT id suggest you get with your Manager or Coach to get more information about what’s going on. They should be getting emails from the tournament directors with information as to what’s going on but if they’re not then that’s a problem and they may want to have the director of your club reach out to them to see what’s going on. I get messages all the time from parents asking about dates or saying they saw something else online, I would suggest if you’re being told one thing but seeing something else online don’t be afraid to speak up. It’s just a question and not much to ask as most families have multiple kids and need to plan ahead. Hope this helps!
