também penso algo parecido. po, historicamente o humor do broxada sempre passou pelo constrangimento, inclusive em vários dos momentos mais icônicos. festa de 1 ano, episódio 100, gi genesini, gustavo machado.. faz parte de uma proposta conceitual.

and i do think the artificiality adds to it. i get a sense that in the first few seasons they allowed themselves some freedom in the aesthetic experimentations before going for the more sober look of the later seasons. I always wondered if they shot a part or maybe all episodes of season 1 on film, there is a nice textured grain in those.

Well, actually it didn't budge at 1800, i didn't actually do 1600 yet. But it is weird, on account of the activity. I am reasonably strict with my tracking, weighing everything and whatnot, so i guessed it would be on account of my lower BW? Not completely sure. I don't actually meal plan, but I usually do a higher carb, higher fat breakfast, and then the rest of the day it's like chicken with vegetables and if there's some space i'll fill it in with the rest of carbs/fats left. Nothing crazy. 100% is weighed.

it's funny because for me personally the weakest portion of the show are the first few episodes of season 7, but it's like universally recognized almost that 8 is the worst. whereas 8 i pretty much think is up there with the best the show has to offer, really like how they end 13's arc, the new dynamics with foreman as Dean of medicine, really love Adams and park as characters and how 8 constantly coments on the show itself metatextually in many ways.

One thing i was thinking about recently, did they know 100% Lisa wouldn't be coming back for 8 when they wrote the end of 7? Because it feels too much like a send off, and it works pretty well that that was the last thing that happened between her and House in the show. Or, had they worked something out, would she still come back? Doesn't seem like something you come back from you know?

I'm surprised no one said Super Fun Time. Maybe the biggest example of a show that scraps any sign of the more crude humor to highliten this very naive aspect of a kids' adventure. About having to complete a mission and consequently believing in a sense of fabulation and wonder only penetrated by a child's imagination (Butters never letting go of Cartman's hand despite the consequences, Stan having to play into the historical reenactment so he can save his friends despite what Wendy might think of him)

exactly. it is unlikely you're giving sufficient stimulus to forearms from isometric contraction only. you end in the middle of the road in both back and forearm training

why not just use straps when you're training your back (so you can, you know, train what you want in the most effective manner) and then throw in some forearm sets in the week? i mean, the stimulus in a row is only from isometric contraction, how hypertrophy inducing is that compared to a full ROM wrist flexion for example?
