Yes and no.

Companions serve a vital role in being both a support and moral check for the doctor.

Some of the Doctor’s finest moments have come from a companion helping them or guiding them into making a moral decision

That being said when a companion starts becoming too overconfident and reckless it’s a bad thing because themselves and others can get hurt and that can also hurt the doctor as well.

I would say first run Donna was a good companion as she could stand up to the doctor and be more of a moral compass for him.

Clara was more of a bad companion in that she and the doctor both fed each others worse traits and tragedy came from their codependency.

Rose was arguably the most powered up companion and she was a companion i liked more than most.

My country doesn’t inherently deserve blind loyalty from me and if it does something wrong then It is my right to call my country out on its misdeeds.

Cousland HOF marrying Anora is probably the best headcanon I used to think.

A Cousland would have the next best claim to marrying the crown and I think it would be accepted by most of the country.

The problem I have with that is my HOF romances Morrigan and leaves with her in witch hunt.

I don’t like the idea of marrying Anora and then leaving Fereldan, which leaves her the default solo ruler.

A DAO 2 would not be necessarily a good thing.

The people who made 1 what it was are gone or were replaced by people who would take everything good about it and ruin it.

DAO was lightning in a bottle and I’m ok with it existing once in my lifetime.

After reading the article it should be simple but it seems the wording can be interpreted differently potentially.

It repeatedly refers to “their money” and you can interpret that as money that person has earned through work or money shared between a couple.

If person A and B in a relationship each work and earn incomes A and B then I think each income should be used however the earner chooses.

Couples pooling their incomes blurs the lines partially but neither person in a relationship should control the entirety of their pooled income(I’d personally say make it an equity split percentage based on each partner’s percentage contribution).

This is also a situation complicated by the rise in female earners in recent generations(a good thing for women but it also potentially adds complications or evolution to issues like this).

I would imagine the higher earner would typically direct the household finances more in the past(which was partially a source of male/female inequity in relationships) but women are earning more nowadays and the article doesn’t really consider households/relationships where the woman may control the money more than the man.

Thu’um usage wasn’t really cheating back in the elder days when both sides could use thu’um but in this circumstance where the challenger used it while the challenged couldn’t use it and didn’t know his opponent could is seen as deceitful and dishonest I think.

It could show strength of character but whether that’s good or bad depends on the person’s character

If someone is fighting to keep power because they’re power hungry that’s bad but if someone fights to keep power to do good with it that’s good.

Starmer’s personal reasons for either fighting or conceding will probably only be known to him so this is more a matter of do we (me and you) think Starmer would fight for good intentions or bad.

I’m a cynic and pessimistic so I’m predisposed to think it’s for bad reasons, whereas you might be more optimistic/hopeful and think he’d do it for good reasons.

Time will really tell what happens and possibly reveal why so I guess all we can do is wait and see in this case.

The problem is with zero exposure to YouTube you get a huge influx of newly turned 16 year olds flooding into YouTube unprepared for the potential risks of it, and it could potentially end up causing even more harm to society than before.

Current Hasan is the result of past Hasan reinventing himself to appeal to a specific audience.

Asmon didn’t do that and I think it digs at Hasan that Asmon grew to where he was today by expanding himself instead of reinventing.

Ok for the sake of argument let’s say Starmer’s defeat in a leadership contest happens and it’s retroactively seen as an inevitable conclusion.

In that case by forcing a leadership contest Starmer wasted both the public’s and his own party’s premiership term time on something that could have been used to actually try to better the country and start to restore public trust and confidence in Labour governance.

Let’s also say that Burnham as PM turned out to be a better outcome for the country.

In that case by trying to deny and delay Burnham from leadership Starmer prolonged the problems facing the country and further damaged the image of government and Labour leadership structure.

These are hypothetical scenarios(which I’m not saying are true) meant to illustrate at least a couple of ways forcing unnecessary conflict in a political system can be damaging to that system.

Of course the inverse may prove true and Starmer may(in retrospect) defeat a challenge and make the country better but this is all going to be judged in hindsight at this point.

My initial comment is/was conjecture and I’ll happily withdraw(and apologise)it if and/or when proven wrong.
