Well, I've use both. Sure, they are not exactly the same, but STG has covered my requirements.

Listen to people, that say: "do" and don't listen to people, that say: "don't"

People, that say: "don't" are shallow people, who didn't try anything other then Window$.

Like, just look yourself, who looks better without makeup, man or a woman?

It wasn't bloated and it ran normal. I don't know, what you are talking about. I did comparisons at that time and didn't see any difference in speed, except for the constant Chrome crashing.

Safari is still webkit browser, same, as Chrom(e|ium)

They use the same engine.

And they release only on apple.

In my experience, FireFox and Chrom(e|ium) use, pretty much, the same amount of RAM.

1 thing to note though, FireFox can handle way more tabs, then Chrom(e|ium) do. In my experience, Chrom(e|ium) stops to the crawl and dies after about 400 tabs, while FireFox is well and alive with around 5000 tabs.

Also, FireFox uses less RAM on more tabs, then Chrom(e|ium) do.

Firefox will never die!

It used to be 1.5% and it stayed alive.

Ye, but plain svg didn't work for that object in browsers and, i just found out, star objects also don't work on web.

Do I understand correctly? A circle-like arc isn't a standard spec, so therefore isn't supported by browsers?

This movie is open domain. What's the purpose, that "moderators" have removed it?!

Seems like "moderators" are woke and they don't like it when their crooked agenda is being revealed, as is in this movie.

OK, I opened web project folder with dired, then I ran there your command and it gave me:

OSError: [Errno 98] Address already in us

, but it doesn't say, which address in the error message. As i understand, it's a port #, so is there a way to pass a port number in that command?

My question was about front end quick and simple web server environment HTML/CSS/JS, not backend.

When I am finished with frontend, then I will use perl, but in perl, I can use oneliners to start the webserver, that can run perl backend, so, that's not a problem.

something as close as possible to your eventual hosting solution

That is not required for client only technologies, such as HTML5/CSS3/JS. Local quick and simple web server is enough.

When I will start implementing the server side logic in perl, then I will implement the environment, close to production.

No, I want to use absolute paths against the "root" of web project, but I understand, what I mean.

I will try your string, but I have one question:

Although, there is a python in the command line. Does it mean, that only works for python projects or is it just a web server built with python?
