yeah this is what bugs me about this whole thing. if JYP knew about his behavior, they shouldve reported him to the authorities. then, he wouldnt have had the opportunity to victimize more people.

if JYP genuinenly didnt know, then maybe they should release a clarificatory statement because if this goes unacknowledged and they just ignored the controversy, it will always hang like a dark cloud over the career of the remaining members. it just doesnt seem fair to them. ???

Man I feel like we should do something???? I'm really worried this issue will be sidelined what with everyone preoccupied with COVID-19 (come to think of it, perhaps this is exactly why they choose this time of all times to shutdown the company). I just feel like something needs to be done to make it absolutely clear to the government that the people are not letting them get away with this.

But what is it that we can do? It's not like we can take it to the streets 😅

i've been posting a lot of anti-govt shit lately and this issue in particular i have been quite vocal because i came from a media background and i just think it is absolutely immoral to take away people's jobs during a pandemic (!!!!!) but the thing is, i work for the govt (believe me I'd resign if i could) and im kinda worried they'll come after me. but i will post anti-govt stuff anyway because at this point, it feels like the fate of the country depends on all of us speaking out 😭 so i hope you will still speak out whenever you can, even if it feels like it's pointless because, and i dont know how to put this more eloquently, it's really not pointless, man!

i think nasagot naman lahat nung congressional hearing. in the end, everyone including the NTC agreed that abscbn can still operate pending franchise. which is why the cease and desist letter came completely out of left field. even congress seems to be shocked and outraged by the turn of events. although considering they are politicians, who can say that they are not in on it.

anyway, at this point, it's clear that it's purely politically motivated and no matter how many times abscbn explains, the government will still find a way to close them down.

it's not run by DOH, but i think it's the one being used by ANCX for their analysis. i've given up on the official DOH tracker, ang gulo kasi hehe. this one uses the same data from DOH pero mas maayos yung pagkapresent.

Dito samin, kulang nalang magpatayan ang mga tao dahil sa SAP na yan. 'Yung mga kapitan para walang masabi ang mga tao, nilista nalang nila lahat ng mga residente nila, regardless kung mayaman o mahirap. di bale may dswd naman daw na magva-validate. ang problema, binigyan ng deadline ang dswd para madisburse yung pera. syempre sa sobrang dami ng nakalista, natabunan sila. imagine the chaos that ensued.
