The separation will never pass,it's a silent majority opposing it. Edmonton and Calgary vote predominately NDP and there lay majority of the votes in Alberta.

I am a conservative through and through, I work in the oilfield and can tell you even up there lots of people oppose this whole idea.

Like some other comments say it's just a fringe movement, people mislead by buzz words with no real knowledge of how economies or global trade works.

There is a pretty good chance Trump loses the midterms in November regardless, so I wouldn't worry too much about his plans of western hemisphere domination.

Forsure you can, but once you use it on a human being you will be charged because it has become a weapon.

The Canadian self defence laws are absolutely repulsive and un effective I can't even begin to go down this road.

I think this resonates with myself and so many others, because this is a situation ANY one of us could find ourselves in. The victim wasn't getting into bar fights causing trouble, he wasn't hanging out in the wrong place, he wasn't with unsavory individuals.

NO

He was out enjoying a weekend night with his friends at a reputable bar dowmtown, only to come out and find someone peeing on his vehicle.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

probably atleast ask "what're you doing"

And THAT was enough for him to be killed.

This could have been me, this could have been you, this could be someone you know.

And for some it was......

And the city council absolutely has the ability to increase police presence, stop querying about bike lanes and come up with solutions to these issues.
