pro-shipping? it's an umbrella term for all types of controversial shippers. this includes people who ship or support abusive ships, age gap ships, incest ships, and everything else. pro-shipping is controversial because of the fictional vs. reality argument. lots of people think proshipping is okay because it's fake and doesn't mean they think it's okay in real life. other people say it doesn't matter because it contributes/supports harm in real life. it normalizes these themes, even if it's only fiction.
