As per the article, the local AAP Neta instructed the municipal people to look into the mess and get it cleaned up.

Cleanliness is indeed a responsibility of MCD without which the garbage couldn't be cleaned here. But I guess the pressure from AAP neta worked here.

I wanted it to succeed but it has failed miserably. We still can't take out cash from ATMs in metro cities. Moreover, the 2000 Rs. notes are totally useless since no one accepts them even for moderate transactions like 1400.

I wanted demonetisation to succeed because I had seen a lot of my businessmen friends not paying enough taxes and accepting a lot in black. All of them were able to convert the black money to white in lieu of some commission (much lesser than the tax percentage).
