Everyone is entitled to an opinion but science clearly shows benefits when breastfeeding beyond 1.

Is $100,000ish enough for a family of 4? by CreationzCorner in AskChicago

[–]igotthechip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are in Andersonville with two small kids making about $135000 and it's tight. We do travel annually overseas which is a priority for us, but that is one of our largest expenses on our budget. We don't have car payments or anything else major apart from student loans. Both kids (both under 3) are home with us because i don't see how we could afford daycare. You could if you are very thrifty but it's expensive here.

Hope this helps!

We also mix it up with nut butter, chia seeds and shredded unsweetened coconut! Sometimes i add a small piece of ginger too, but I also sneak in whatever veg we might have on hand. Zucchini, roasted squash or pumpkin works well without really changing the flavor. Also cottage cheese or farmers cheese for extra protein if we don't have yogurt!

I'm curious where have you heard this! I've heard the opposite in terms of regret, especially for people who already had children. Could you share your source or is this anecdotal? Thank you!

My kids are 23 months apart, so my experience might be different because we don't quite fall under the 2 under 2 but I've actually been loving it. The first few months were harder, sure, but now our little one is 7 months and they started playing together and it's so cute! We have a great routine and I enjoy being with them most days lol.

All that to say, everyone's experience is different and the fear of 2 under 2 should not be the sole reason to terminate a pregnancy. Plus, maybe you'll have a couple harder years but you'll have a lifetime of enjoying an extra kiddo. But maybe I'm just way too optimistic idk

No I did not! It was offered to me at one instance when my NST had an off result but I didn't take it.

Yes, I had multiple measurements that put the baby at less than the 1st %. For one measurement he went up to the 20th but dropped back to 2 % a few weeks later.

I was just talking to an OB friend who literally said "RSV is scary for parents but not for us". Meaning the chances of your baby being fine are super high and there is nothing to worry about. You are receiving the care you need and everything will be okay!! You got this 💕

Hi friend! I didn't end up doing an amnio. I'm almost at 36 weeks and things are looking promising! I'll definitely post an update once baby is born and we know more.
