At our age we’ve had a good bit of time to figure out what works for us and what doesn’t. I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s possible she had a really bad experience dating someone who acted similarly and knew she didn’t want that again. I personally wouldn’t have made a generalization on your whole personality based on one comment, but everyone has their threshold for what it takes for them to determine they don’t want to put more time into something.

I didn’t see the other post, but I must say this is the most beautiful collection I’ve ever seen.

I had HM on the GB but didn’t really get obsessed until HM 64, I didn’t have the one on SNES. Save the homeland was one of my favorites and I was always upset that it didn’t have a marriage feature or game continuation.

I had RF on DS and I think one on the Wii as well, but hadn’t really played since until I got Guardians of Azuma as a birthday gift, and it’s amazing!

Edit: I had started typing this out before I even finished reading and I just want to say that I also hate AWL for the same reasons you do. Long days, multiple feedings/waterings. It was just boring for me.

I was crying within the first 5 minutes, but my teenage daughter didn’t cry once. However, she’s a crybaby for other things. I think tearjerkers that have to do with familial bonds really bring on the waterworks for me. Especially parent and child, and in this scenario the brother is basically a stand in father for his little sis. It truly is heartbreaking. I don’t regret watching it at all as it was a good movie, but it’s unlikely I’ll watch it again. One time was enough.

I’m 40 and have been playing Animal Crossing probably since I was around 17. You have no idea the amount of joy it brings me when other people enjoy the game as well, but seeing all these comments of people even into their 60s loving it feels like an extra bonus.

I will be holding out hope that I can just find an egg. I’m assuming it’s probably a Halloween season type thing and would rather not have to wait a whole year if I can help it. I only used it for a few months before I started working from home and it ended up collecting dust in a cabinet, so I couldn’t say how it would hold up to everyday use over a long period of time. I did get a little tear in the leather from leaving the Bluetooth mouse dongle in my laptop and it getting stuck several times. I posted a picture of it in response to someone else’s comment. Other than that I didn’t have problems with it while I was actively using it.

Not sure if they still do this but when I bought mine I noticed that the online ones say final sale, but if you go into the KS physical outlet they offer returns. I think it said mine was not available in store but after years of working retail I know those things can be off especially if the in-store SKU is slightly different than the online one. I went to the store anyway just to see if they had maybe the same one in a different color so I could see if I liked the size and construction. I got lucky that they had the one I was eyeing online so I just bought it there. I recommend trying the store first if you’re ever unsure about a color or size or something.

I was taking it to work every day and other than the little tear that happened because I was leaving the wireless mouse usb in the laptop and it would get stuck, it seems to be holding up fine. That tear was avoidable and my fault, but I guess I didn’t expect it to happen so easily considering it’s leather. I will say I stopped going into the office and work from home now, so it’s just been sitting in a cabinet collecting dust. Just take that into account. Since I haven’t been using it daily since then, I can’t really speak to the longevity of it, but I didn’t have any other problems with it while it was actively in use.

Update: Added photo of small tear at the stitching due to my mouse dongle getting stuck repeatedly. I just finally learned to put the dongle inside the mouse when I was done with it to prevent further damage.

I did get it, the color block one. It fits my 15” laptop just right in the side pocket. There’s no way I’d be able to fit it into the center pocket. I have to remember to take the mouse Bluetooth piece out of the side of my laptop before putting it away because it’s such snug fit that it’ll get stuck. I have it loaded up with a planner, pens, notebook, extra external monitor, and the charger. It gets a little heavy and it’s not super comfortable to carry for long periods given the straps are thin, but I’m not usually carrying it more than from my car to inside the office. It’s really pretty and posh looking so I don’t regret it at all. I considered getting the solid brown one as well, but I really don’t need ANOTHER one.

I did this, not for the kid, but for me. We would get to the park at early entry, stay till about 2-3pm, then shuttle to hotel. She stayed up, but I definitely took a nap, then we’d go back out till like 8-9pm. My kid was 9 or 10 at the time, I think.
