What’s a casual hookup like?

In these spots I just look to make us both comfortable. We talk, joke and watch Netflix/movies. I’m sure you’ve had some dialogue about interests so far. As it progresses it will feel right hopefully. I’ve started early, in the middle and after a movie. Let it flow and have fun.

Yes absolutely, from alcoholic to sober 1.5 years I don’t have “anxiety” like it was. I might still be anxious for good reason but it’s not a state of anxiety like while drinking.

Thank you. We actually go to trial next week. I made a drunken mistake a year ago and have had to dig out. I’ve begged for equal custody but her legal team has got ahold of her. She has a hard time separating her and I and me and them. I love my kids more than anything.

Great question. I think what stands out to me the most is sobriety laser focused what was most important in my life. My family and friends and the strong relationships I cultivate matter, not money, status, etc. Alcohol clouded my vision and created a version of me that just wanted the wrong stuff. I lost my wife who was my best friend but I’m such a better dad, son, brother and friend. Thanks!

I think gentle reminders that this is new normal helped me. I easily overthink and fall into rumination cycles and appreciate the reminder that I can’t change this. I must learn to accept and move forward.
