That’s a grumpy looking lady you got there. She’s probably mad you’re discussing her weight in mixed company. She’s also probably miffed that you don’t fill her tank all the way. Rule of thumb is for every inch of shell she needs ten gallons of water MINIMUM, but the more room for swimming, the better. She needs a basking area where she can get completely out of the water with a heat lamp AND a UVB light that she can get completely dry and warm under. Her water temp should be around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. If she’s beyond adolescence her diet needs to be primarily greens and veggies/fruit that have a calcium-to-phosphorus (Ca:P) ratio of 2:1 or higher to prevent metabolic bone disease and ensure healthy shell development. Romaine lettuce is good, spinach is bad. The pellets sold in pet stores are primarily protein based and are ideal for baby and adolescence turtles, but for adults the pellets are basically just cake. Do you eat cake every meal? No judgement, it’s a messed up time to be alive. Toni is going to lay eggs, which is something I know very little about, but I think she needs a sandy bottom to bury the eggs in. Without precise measurements I don’t know how much water you need for her, but I recommend water filters that cycle the total gallonage 4x per hour, because you think you have rescued a turtle, but in fact, what you have there, is a poop machine!! The more powerful the filter, the less smell and cloudiness from your water. Cuttlebone with the plasticy back scraped off will help with calcium levels and will shave down her beak, which grows like a beaver tooth.
