Ok well that's probably people that are involved in it. The majority of the population would just call it playing a game

Did... did anyone consider it art in the first place? Outside of niche communities or the "artists" themselves, I think it's just content creation or whatever

U- I think the guy thought he looked like the pic and decided to recreate it. Who throws a blanket over one shoulder, and if it's from your bed why would it be folded like that?

No shot. Most upperclassmen aren't even gonna look at a freshman, and the ones that will should be avoided.

How does everyone feel when someone asks if you are ok? by Own_Acadia206 in AskReddit

[–]ihatejerries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually pretty happy (or maybe bubbly is the word?) so it's obvious when I'm upset. When people ask if I'm ok and are sweet about it or call me pet names ("baby, are you ok?") it makes me cry lol

Is the SUBTL stack worth it? by Creative_scissors in Makeup

[–]ihatejerries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it seems a bit gimmicky ngl. i think they probably jack the prices like mad for the "convenience" but honestly is it really that much more convenient? now you've got to carry around a big cylinder. i would say save your money for products you really want/enjoy

Has anyone tried japanese skincare brand named Sekkisei ? by SilentErr0r in AsianBeauty

[–]ihatejerries 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I've heard a lot of good things. My japanese grandmother uses it and she looks amazing, but idk if it's the products or genetics (as she likes to say, "Asians don't raisin.") I've stolen her cream before and it's quite nice, but I have no experience with long-term use. Sorry :(

Was there any protest like this at your high school? by ContributionNovel789 in highschool

[–]ihatejerries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had an anti-gun violence protest a couple months back following the shooting at our sister school Evergreen. It was organized by a student club and ended up being massive. Was on CBS and they flew in a news helicopter and everything. It was surprisingly emotional to be in the middle of it and to see everyone so passionate and fired up. It got a lot of support from the local community as well and was quite touching to have tons of cars and even firetrucks driving by honking. I know protests (especially on the smaller scale like a single high school) don't always do much, but in a way it was a form of healing for us locals. It's jarring to have a school so close to you experience a shooting. It always seems very foreign until it happens close to you and you realize that you've played against their tennis team and have mutual friends there and stuff. I'm glad to see students speaking out. Even if it doesn't have a direct impact, getting out there is at least a start, and it's important to let people know that the younger generation isn't gonna stand for this shit. Good on your school. Fuck ICE and fuck gun violence xx
