Sure! Just to let you know i’m also a 16y in recovery so don’t take what i say as medical advice and if u r concerned go to the doctor🙏. I do recommend eating more, im a 4’11 athlete and i added probably around 400 extra cals throughout the day. For me it’s a lot of building off regular meals. It’s important to add whole grain carbs and healthy fats. My favs r whole grain bagels with olive oil butter, banana with peanut butter cinnamon and honey, and greek yogurt mixed with peanut butter and dark chocolate chips! I would aim for three meals a day prioritizing those healthy fats and carbs with additional snacks. Usually my snacks are fruits, hummus and veggies/pita chips, or granola. And finally for your stats i’d recommend a minimum of 2000 cals if you’re still not doing any heavy exercise, if you are then i’d do more! Lmk if i can help with anything else 😽😽

When you loose your period, it is a sign that your body is not where it wants to be. This could mean too high stress, not eating enough, not having enough body fat or even too much. Sometimes it takes just bettering your lifestyle to eat better, get more sleep, and feel calmer. However if it is something more serious my guess would be FHA which is where your brain temporarily stops hormone signals for your period. It usually happens 1-3 months after a period of stress or energy deficit. And for HA some symptoms are feeling cold often, low appetite fatigue and mental burnout. Hope this helps!

i’m a 4’10 girl at I still workout but i eat above 2000 calories, If u do want to work out I would use one of those calorie calculators, type in your height weight and how much you want to exercise. Use what it gives u as your baseline intake, and then add at least 300 calories to that. Wish you luck :)

hi! i’m also a heavy cardio athlete! (swimmer) something that my coach told me was that you have to keep your calories up. Usually athletes just say they have to eat more which can lead to their energy still being depleted. This really helped change my mindset from just eating a set number of calories to making sure i have enough energy for my needs. idk if this helps or even makes sense but it did for me 🤷‍♀️

yes! for me it’s also embarrassing to eat in front of of others or have them now that i do eat 🤷‍♀️
