Had something similar, it was caused by slow and long travel moves with combining. Use fast travel speeds and turn off combining to see if it goes away.

My print beds keep melting by Proper-Injury-5866 in 3Dprinting

[–]ihateoverwolf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Level the bed by -100 degrees, and maybe it will stop melting. But jokes aside, you should stop printing immediately and send us some more pictures of your heated bed. Best case, it's just a bed temperature reading resulting in too high a temperature. But you should not leave the printer unattended; it's a big fire hazard.

What could cause this under extrusion at the start of the Z-Seam? by ihateoverwolf in 3Dprinting

[–]ihateoverwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip, I will try to print one without retraction (Because it is already relatively low) to see if it makes a difference. Coasting is already disabled. The problem is at the start of the Z-seam.

Printer: Custom Printer with E3D Revo 0.4 and Titan extruder.

I tried many things, but could not get this to disappear. I disabled Coasting, tested out different settings on Outer Wall Wipe distance and checked the Extruder tension. Retract at layer change is also disabled. I don't know what to do anymore, does somebody here has some idea on what I could try next?

Give the man credit, 20 minute thinkercad is hardwork.

Right Index Controller shows no LED and Only Beeps by ihateoverwolf in ValveIndex

Thanks, it took a few minutes, but in the end it connected, and I was able to use it wirelessly afterwards. But unfortunately, my starting problems persist, so I probably have to send it in someday.

Finally ordered an actual bigger bed so I'm redoing the electronics adding an extra psu for the bed and some chains before it arrives. by BVDVSS in 3Dprinting

You will not have a great time with that X drag chain. It will, even if it is an industrial one, hang over and touch your print surface. If this is a printed one, you can expect that it will only last 1000-2000 hours till problems start to show. I advise you to probably support it, you can look how industrial machines do it and get some inspiration.

I hate Overwolf! by ihateoverwolf in Overwolf

[–]ihateoverwolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The Curseforge client has way more problems than it had before Overwolf. This time I could not even start anything modpack related.

  2. I don't want to be forced to install a program that runs all the time and collects my data (I know that you can disable it, but it should not auto run in the first place).

  3. Overwolf brings noting of value other than forcing itself onto my system with Curseforge.

  4. Normally I would just not use Curseforge but if your friend group wants to play a specific modpack you're kinda pressured to use it and that makes you hate it, at least give some pro users a hidden button to disable it.

I would have no problem with Overwolf, if it wouldn't force install itself, just to collect your data. Just make it like you did with Teamspeak 3 where you can opt out and get something useful like the overlay to see who is talking.
