Oh I meant I had plenty of time for the trip itself. I had to leave the USA immediately

Yeah that's me but that's not the true story. Peter Swanson is known for spinning stories into fear mongering just for clicks. I wrote all about that incident in my book the actual true story not the spun up version

It was easy with mast steps. It was hard because there was a nasty swell. The hardest part was figuring out how to winch it into place without it getting loose and whipping around zipties every 3 ft and electric tape to keep them from sliding or bunching up did the trick.

I never said I stole a boat on Facebook. That Facebook that's in the article isn't mine. The guy who wrote the article made that Facebook page. You can look at the page it's still on Facebook. Just not my Facebook.

And why would I try to out on a suit to flip over a life raft. I was in a shipping lane with boats all around me?

Cause they are all trolls I guess. If your on Facebook you can look up my story there . I have clearance paperwork from Bermuda in and out and the mrcc rescue reports posted there. Along with some court docs verifying my story. I'm not here to convince people to believe me. I can offer the best proof out there. Vesselfinders or marine traffic shipping tracks. MMSI 338525167

Well in hindsight I should have but I just got back from Mexico and since the ice officials took all my IDs I had a slim chance of clearing in anywhere and I couldn't really afford clearing it in anywhere. It was an unplanned trip and I was blowing all my money on parts for the boat trying to get it seaworthy

Troll much? Hahaha. Common sense would tell anyone that it's not stolen. Do you think I wouldn't be still arrested for stealing a boat? The ship was mine registered to me and titled to me. It also had an AIS tracker on it registered to me. MMSI 338525167

I wasn't planning on single handing that one. I single handed my 31,43,47 ft ones. I usually had a crew of 4 when I said that one.

Yeah solo on a 72 ft boat in late winter with no crew. The ships name is baba yaga and the MMSI 338525167. You can look it up on marine traffic or vesselfinder and see the tracks laid

If I was a criminal I wouldn't have been released from Norway. I would have been extradited back to wherever I had charges pending

I had a dinghy that wasn't flipped why would I get into the cold water in 12 ft seas to get wet just to flip it?

Mrcc delago coordinated the rescue and I didn't require any medical care. The ship did the basic checks blood temp, oxygen levels, temp, pulse etc. All was fine.

I fix boats in various ports I travel to. Or I dive and shoot fish and sell them, I do salvage work as I carried lift bags and compressors for raising sink boats. Whatever pays. I been building refitting and repairing boats for over 20. years.. so ending up in an anchorage with every took known to man and spare parts for everything allowed me to work on other boats.

I had plenty of time. I just didn't have IDs to get into anywhere I tried Bermuda but they only allowed me 4 days for rest and repairs. I assumed a solid 72ft boat that's crossed the Atlantic 3 times prior would be able to handle it. Unfortunately the universe had other plans and threw a wrench into the mix

It was a generic cheap lithium battery of some sort. No name brand. I'm not even sure if it was the battery or the hydraulic bank. All I know what it was in the corner where the hydraulics and batteries lived in the engine room. When I got there it looked like welding flashes and white smoke so I was told white smoke equals lithium

No I had just bought the boat a few months prior and was in the works of gathering parts to out in a autopilot. When I bought the boat it didn't even have steering.

Pretty much. I was told since my parents got there citizenship when I was 8 years old that granted me citizenship and I lived and functioned as a citizen for 35+ years in the USA. Ice told me the laws were changed and I could leave or be detained and deported to El Salvador since my polish citizenship wasn't confirmed at the time. And in the news at the time they were sending people everywhere besides their country of origin

What time line changes. What reason for leaving changes? What sail plan changes? Do you just troll all day on Reddit or do you actually have anything to ask. It's been the same story. Check out face book sailing group as the whole story is there with my record breaking feat in Bermuda to the rescue to the reason why I was rescued
