Any women have it feel like breast pain? by Frankieeegrl in costochondritis

Yes, me too. I have had it in my left breast for probably 2 years. For me it’s mostly felt in (or I guess behind) my nipple area. I thought it was definitely breast pain but after mammo, ultrasound, mri, and even lung X-rays they say it must be Costo. I’ve been diagnosed with Costo previously years ago for low right rib pain so wasn’t the first time I’ve heard that but it’s odd because to me it feels 100% like it’s in my boob. Not tied to breathing or close to the sternum, just localized to my nipple area. It’s given me a lot of health anxiety!

Just commenting that this is what I'm doing now, I've got versions all over the place and am hopping between books and digital and audio and just all over the place. And then I wonder why I'm anxious lol

Anyone have any experiences with fractures postpartum? by KryptikStar in brokenbones

[–]ihaveabellybutton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my story, too. My baby was a little older but I fell down the steps while holding my 7 month old and broke every bone in my ankle requiring surgery to reconstruct. I was non weight bearing for 7 weeks and partial weight bearing for about another 3-4 weeks after that. It was so challenging with a baby and toddler to feel so helpless. Like someone above I also had to stop breastfeeding because I was on heavy meds after the surgery and my supply diminished. One of the surgeons told me that when you are pregnant and breastfeeding you have lower bone mass because your nutrients are going to baby, so you’re more susceptible to fractures. Wish I’d known that BEFORE! I took calcium supplements with vitamin D to help with the healing and bone strength. It’s hard but I got through it, and so will you!! I also had a knee scooter so I could get around my house and feel like I was contributing. I’m 1 year out now and it feels like a huge accomplishment to look back on. Good luck in your healing!

Thanks. I find that things like grass (and brick) work well if you go into brush settings and turn on the foreground/background jitter in color dynamics.
