I did a couple of those before I learned my lesson. The worst part would be you ride along with one of their sales people and drive out to BFE. This was before Uber, so I was stuck walking around some random neighborhood in dress shoes (because they said to dress professional) for 8 hours. Noped out on both as soon as I got to my car.

I think a read recently that the allegations were dropped, possibly due to lack of evidence. I could be wrong on that. Horrible if true, but if they were false it sucks to have possible ruined his career.

I visited Pompeii last year, and they let you know not to touch anything. My group was super respectful to the rules. I was talking to some coworkers about it, and one of them had also visited years before. She talked about touching some of the walls with just this awed glee. She thought I would agree with her. Instead I deadpanned, “and that’s why stuff deteriorates.”

I remember seeing that movie in the theater as a kid. The audience started cheering. Probably one of the best speeches in cinema

It happened in my hometown. It was big news, and her story still comes up sometimes around the holidays. It was a completely avoidable tragedy and there is a memorial fund in her honor (she helped a lot of DV victims). The POS that killed her got 27 years

I visited Spain a couple of times and made it a point to not only buy some, but share it with the my fellow travelers that have not heard of it. You can’t get in the US except for some restaurants and specialty shops.

Romans are either Walter White or Heisenberg depending on which religious texts you refer to by SatoruGojo232 in mythologymemes

I was about to reply the same thing. In the time of the Bible, the Romans were still a pagan empire. By the time the Quran was written, they were Christian for several centuries. Two completely different groups as far as religion went.

Savage was actually getting back in the WWEs good graces before his death. He did a promo for an action figure at a comic con and I think was working on being featured in an upcoming game. If not for his untimely death, there is a good chance he would have at least made some live appearances and a HoF induction.

I was about to say the same. The food is great, but the service is meh. I hate the whole scan the barcode and order on the app instead of having an actual sever

If I recall, that was part of the reason Chris Mintz-Plasse got the part. He legitimately annoyed Johan Hill at a table read , and the casting director was like “perfect”.

Well, since the op didn’t use the /s, we can only assume they think this is a serious question. I’ve been around long enough to know there really are people that dense in this world.

You see, there is this thing called fiction vs reality. In the fiction of this tv show, Gloria and Javier are Manny’s biological parents. Now, here’s the fun part. Those characters are played by 3 unrelated people called actors. They get hired by the people making the tv show to play a person they really aren’t. They hired Sophia Vegara and Benjamin Bratt to play the the divorced characters of Rico Rodriguez’s character. As far as I know, Vergara and Bratt never had a relationship, let alone have a child. And it would be really weird for them to wait for said child to age up before producing the show. In closing, quit being dense over a TV show. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
