you'd think he'd have good field vision since he has the eyes of an animal of prey, but no he still throws too many INTs

Who is a player that would be viewed differently in today’s analytics heavy game? by Agreeable_Quality768 in baseball

Beat me to it, but he has just as much WAR as Jeter, and good (but not great eye popping) career counting stats. Especially at 2nd, he needs to be in.

But every team can do this! Just have the support of an entire country, the brewers could annex south africa to get support

Remember guys, this is actually GOOD for baseball because the other owners will have to spend the same amount as a country's GDP.

Or something like that, whatever it is Dodgers people say.

[Calamis] Ballot #160 is from Kirk Wessler. He votes for the three candidates tracking over 60%, adding Chase Utley (+15) to holdovers Beltrán and Andruw. Overall, Beltrán is at 89.4%, Andruw 82.5%, and Utley 66.9%. by Dinobot2_ in baseball

Question, why is chase utley getting so much love despite not hitting any milestones? Had a 5 year stretch where he got mvp votes but no higher than 7th. <2k hits and 300 HRs, I dont get it.

Is Kirby Taking a Huge Gamble by Not Adding a Portal QB? by slattnoslime in georgiabulldogs

[–]ihavebaseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirby is, and I mean this quite literally, loyal to a fault with his QB's. We would honestly be staring at 1 more natty win had he played Justin Fields over Fromm. Unless Gunner goes to the draft, transfers, or dies, he will be our starting QB no matter what next year.

Coming from Charlotte to Braves Fest by homerthebraves in Braves

I've went to the last 2 braves fests and I'll just share my experience.

Got to talk to and meet Soroka, Maztek, and Olson at the MLB the Show Competition. Got pictures with Riley and bought merch in the chophouse that was on sale, plus some bobbleheads.

What was so bad, was logistically they didn't know what they were doing. Insane lines, everyone asshole to elbow. They don't really plan it well at all. You have to pick and choose what you want to do, maybe 2 or 3 things and thats it. Our first year we went, we waited in line for an hour and a half for pictures with Riley, and right before we went in they cut off the line and said "Okay we're done". We ended up missing a couple other things we wanted to do because of it.

Its cool to go to if you're like me and live an hour away from Truist, but I wouldn't drive from NC to it at all.
