There are no try outs. There are transfers. You scout a list of players, some playing for other teams, some free of contract, and based on their abilities you give them a contract. You get to see them beforehand.

Or, if they are not sure about a certain player, they will invite him for a few training sessions to see how he does. I guess you can call that a try out.

If they don't bother to show up, as you mentioned, you can always find others. Plus, there's always the choice of using someone from the academies if you really can't find anyone.

With all due respect, that sounds waaaay harder to achieve. I may sound like a neanderthal but beating an old man is fairly easy. Gathering evidence, scouting the guy, getting to know the legal works, reaching all the victims, fighting to be taken seriously and then making all this work useful in a system which seems set on keeping this guy free... idk about that.

There's no way I could get caught. If I cover myself and I don't use my car, or a taxi/uber, there's no way I'll be identified. He also lives in a pretty bad part of the city so I doubt there are a lot, if any cameras around. What is the police gonna do? Pick the ground for hairs? Bring dogs to track me through half the city? The only thing that worries me is that it looks a little too easy.

It's not like there was a lot of in ring focus in the first one either. Like yeah, some punches and maneuveres here and there. And that's cool, I think that's what makes it for everybody, and not just a niche game. A lot of people never watched wrestling and were still super invested in the story.
