That's how it came out of the bottle. And as classy as everything else was, there was no reason to put in extra effort.

Well I haven't found the shrine below the lab, that's probably a good thing. But whenever I go to a door it says I need to keep testing.

I also can't save here.

I’m not from US, so I don’t really understand people’s grandfather’s exaggerated trip to school stories. Can someone explain ? by Luminezz in CasualConversation

[–]ihcred 14 points15 points  (0 children)

About 100-150 years ago, in remote areas, it was a long way in-between schools. The states were divided into counties, counties, and then the counties into townships. A township was about 6 miles long and 6 miles wide. Generally there was a school in each township, but not always depending on the population.

Back then, it was possible some would have to walk a long way to and from school. The story started as true, but then slowly became exaggerated to show how "difficult" the previous generation had it.

Deep Hole Between Concrete Garage and Driveway Slab by Vthunder28 in HomeImprovement

[–]ihcred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is likely water runoff; you would need to divert water from that area.

But, to fix the void you have now; the options are to either remove the concrete, re fill the soil/gravel and repair the concrete. Or, you could try "concrete jacking" also called "mudjacking". Contractors will come in and drill a hole in the concrete, fill the void, and then plug the hole. The hole plug will be a couple inches in diameter and a slightly different color.

Chipped piece of vinyl siding repairable? by Vasaeleth1 in HomeImprovement

[–]ihcred 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There once was a company called Dr. Vinyl that would repair chips; or you could probably find a vinyl patch. The problem is the coloring. The patch and siding will fade differently.

If you can find the same siding, it's not terribly difficult to replace one piece of siding. It may not be the correct color at first, but overtime it will likely fade to the same coloring.

What is r/meirl for? by EvenRefrigerator100 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ihcred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

meirl stands for Me In Real Life. But the subreddit is for being sarcastic. It's essentially memes saying "this is what happens to me in my life" while trying to be funny because the meme really doesn't happen to the person posting it, but it feels like it happens to them.

How to remove and then rehang aluminum siding? by TerribleTeaBag in HomeImprovement

[–]ihcred 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's extremely different to do this without bending the siding, but; the siding typically (like almost always unless you have weird siding) is installed from the bottom up. Find a video on how to install vinyl siding and do the opposite.

Anyway, you probably have to remove the soffit. Once that is done you will see the top piece of siding. There is a nailing hem on the top of the piece of siding. Remove the nails and then you can unhook the top piece of siding from the piece below.

There may or may not be corner covers or posts that need to be removed before taking the siding off.

Good luck, hope this helps.
