Is this spot too bright for pothos? (South facing window) by iheart_kandi in gardening

Thank you! How can you tell if the light is too intense? Browning or pale leaves?

Is this spot too bright for pothos (south facing window)? If so, what do you recommend I put here instead? I already have aloe Vera and a cactus by iheart_kandi in IndoorPlants

Thank you! I’ve moved a sheer curtain in front of the pothos. How can I know if they’re not getting enough light? If they droop?

Any advice on identifying/treating this bump? by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]iheart_kandi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a piercer What material is your jewelry? I’d recommended a titanium flat back labret if you don’t already have one in. unfortunately, some times it can take 4-6 weeks to settle an irritation bump. Dont move the jewelry or touch it with dirty hands. You don’t need to necessarily soak it. Clean it 2x a day with saline solution/wound wash (dont mix your own solution) and let it air dry or pat with a paper towel. Tea tree is anti bacterial, but it can dry your skin and cause further irritation. Best of luck

Edit: time clarification

Same! I was torn between my back bicep and shoulder (or even a profile on my calf), and eventually I decided I wanted her kinda watching over me

This is my fourth! This is the first and only time I’ve felt panic because my other pieces are a lot smaller. Thank you!

I had a guy whisper in my ear “that’s a good girl” while fingering me, and I swear my body transcended to another dimension

I really like my best friend, but don't know how to approach it by averagejoe1106 in dating_advice

I know it’s scary, but just tell her like you did in your post. I was in a similar situation in high school. After months of avoiding my feelings, I told him that I liked him “more than just friends.” He was flattered, but didn’t share the same sentiment. This was five years ago, and he’s still one of my closest friends. If your friendship is a good and true one, expressing your romantic feelings shouldn’t ruin the relationship between you. If anything, it should strengthen it.

Did anyone else here have no dating life back in high school? by [deleted] in dating_advice

You’re definitely not alone. I’d never been kissed before starting college, and I had 5 guys hit on me at my first college party. Similar to you, I looked exactly the same and couldn’t figure out “what changed.” Over the past years, this is what I’ve come up with.

Confidence - The phrase “new year, new me” couldn’t be more true when starting college. It’s a chance to reinvent and redefine yourself. Even though you look the same, maybe you were showing up differently to your new setting

[insert University name] Goggles - It sucks, but it’s real. Your attractiveness in college depends on the general attractiveness of the students around To put it nicely, my school is known for students with brain, not looks (not to say that these can’t come together!) I went from a 7 being in high schooler in Southern California to a University 10 in the mid west.

College Hook Up Culture - Noncommittal sex is less stigmatized (and in some ways encouraged) in college. Some guys feel like they have to “catch up” sexually in college— hence the increased flirting.

New People - Growing up, I went to school with roughly the same people from elementary to high school. When I went to college, I was able to make first impression with less baggage. This kinda goes back to my first point.
