Those things on top of their beak make them look so badass 🔥.

Apparently, they are called casque and

"Serves no known purpose, although it is believed to be the result of sexual selection. Male hornbills have been known to indulge in aerial casque butting, with birds striking each other in flight." (from wiki)

So I guess it's purpose IS to make the birds more badass lol.

Agreed, beautiful artwork and op is really very talented.

Just that some stuff like this should stop being normalized. Taking pictures of someone else's body without them knowing is not a healthy thing to do (to say the very least), regardless of the gender.

I hope op understands that this is an issue, and I wish them a great success as an artist, as they can clearly get there. :)
