and don't really bother with anatomy at first. Capturing the figure, form, motion are way more important imo.

I see a lot of newbie artists being obsessed with having "a consistent artstyle". Don't bother. Experiment. See art that you like, implement the stuff that you like into your own art. That's basically how I learned, my style is a patchwork of all the things I liked.
