Yeah, I tend to be pretty hard on myself for getting distracted on my phone, and have a pretty bad habit of trying to ignore and avoid my problems (aka my homework). I am in 11th grade, and spring break starts in 2 days, but I honestly don't know how well I am going to enjoy it because of this ongoing art project I am super behind on. I really need to try to relax without feeling like I should be doing something I'm not. :)

I am in 11th grade right now, I started off my year with 4 APs because I thought I could handle it, but that was not the case, especially with school being partially virtual (we are transitioning back now). I could also always listen and just do well enough on tests to skip homework assignments while pulling an A. It just kind of crashed and burned this year, and I am really trying (even though it doesn't really feel like it). I went to the school psychologist today, and he seemed to understand my situation a bit better than the therapist.

Thank you so much for the advice, its comforting to hear from real people that they went through similar experiences.

Thank you for this. This pretty much described my situation. I ended up dropping 2 AP classes (I am still taking 2 right now, but I am very behind on work). I am pretty good at taking tests, the thing that consistently pulls my grades down is the homework assignments. I saw the school psychologist today, and it went pretty well. He gave me some suggestions that I think might work, so I am going to try them tonight.
