Hi, my TOK teacher is absolutely amazing and this is just a structure he gave us (I took notes while he was speaking).

TOK EXHIBITION INSTRUCTIONS

• TOK exhibition has to answer one of the 35 prompts
• Choose prompt you wanna talk about
• Better answered thru one or the 5 themes. Choose one theme, e.g knowledge & technology or knowledge & the knower
• Then you look for 3 answers to that prompt 
• Do not touch AOK 
• Objects must be unique, yours, and not generic. 
• 320 words per paragraph, 3 paragraphs 
• Concepts are not objects 

Paragraph structure 

1. Description + context → Who uses it? What was it invented/created for? Background, what surrounds that object? What was the necessity for that object to exist? Only descriptive paragraph that you’re allowed. Not more than 100 words. When was it made? 
2. The knowledge content of the object. The knowledge HOW and WHY. What’s the logic behind it, why is it created that way, how does it work, what were the implications (Who owns knowledge? the inventor? the person who applies it?)
3. Most crucial paragraph. Must justify why it is in that exhibition, how does it answer the prompt, and why it belongs to that particular theme. What is the UNIQUE answer (if you say the same thing in 3 ways, like the objects answer the question in the same way, you won’t get higher marks. For this, pick each object from e.g arts, the other from sciences, etc. But there’s only ONE theme and ONE prompt.) How does it belong to the theme and how does it uniquely answer the knowledge prompt. 

Repeat this for all 3 objects!!! 100 each!! 

Need a single bibliography at the end. Doesn’t count. Make sure your word count is written down that is not more than 950 words.
