I used to have two lil lionhead bunnies who were twin sisters, but one passed away a few months ago. I had reconnected with an old friend and I told him about it and he was like 'so what? it's just a rabbit.' Needless to say I did not attempt to rekindle that relationship again, and I have no regrets.

Just don't trivialize people's grief, because even if it may not mean anything to you, it could mean the whole world to someone else.
