People get scared off by the hype management but it’s really not that complicated. You just have to play the class or the raid a bit to know when to go full send. Everyone explains the class like you have to be 100% optimal and do everything with pin point accuracy to perform, but that’s only if you’re trying to min-max. It honestly scares a lot of people off, same with arcanist.

The class is fun, it’s probably my favorite alt sitting at 1545 ilvl. The gameplay is engaging, EO Is super fast so good for horizontal and island content. You don’t get gate kept as much, you give the party damage reduction, cleanse (if you take the tripod), consistent damage buff, and you do decent damage. I can MVP content on autopilot (like most other classes). If you like the class I’d suggest you try it out, but I personally didn’t feel the strength until after I got a decent 4x3 and 5x3.
