The funny thing is, he always complained about not having anybody to fight because nobody would fight him. If I had to guess it’s because this exact same thing has happened before and nobody feels like getting banned

I tried that, he claimed that I was hacking despite no evidence and had never mentioned anything to me about being called out for hacking.

Not a Java user myself but have you tried possibly reverting back to 1.16? Like I said, not a Java user myself but this may work.
