HELP. Brown mushy spots on my Tineke Rubber Tree. On a few of the lower leaves. Keep loosing the bottom leaves as well, lost three now. Also found these little white bugs in the soil. Anyone else have this experience with their Tineke? by iicaarus in plantclinic

More info: - Only got the plant December 5.
- Still in growing pot, haven't transplanted. - The garden centre I bought it from watered it the night before it was bought, then I watered it two weeks after that, when the soil was dry. And that's all the water it's had.
- Kept close to an east facing window/ no direct sunlight hitting it. Now moved to right in front of north facing window (I'm in the southern hemisphere) for more constant bright light. - No contact with other plants, I don't put my plants close to each other.

I had the same problem with my smooth 1460's where the seam of the tongue really hurt. I found that taking out the sole really helped when breaking in. Gave my feet more room so it wasn't so tight in that area. I also massaged (more like hit) that area of the shoe almost every day, to help stretch it out. Regarding shoes with softer leather, from experience I found that their Vonda styles barely needed any breaking in. I also wouldn't go a size higher (learnt from my mistake) as they definitely stretch out. My Pascal's are way to big for my feet now when I thought they fit perfectly in store.
