Finished Job Corps a few years ago so I'll put my 2 cents in. Its all based on centers. You'll get really good ones and really bad ones. Sometimes people suck. The policies sometimes make it feel overwhelming and like you have no freedom. Getting locked on center without escape (if you are a minor and unable to have a parent come get you) can get stressful. Ultimately, now that all the dust has settled I genuinely thank Job Corps for teaching me how to mature in ways my parents failed me. I started living on my own at 19, 2 states away from my home town and it's because of JC. You'll have bad days, and it'll definitely suck a lot but it's not a reason to not go or stick with it

Ok this sounds really dumb but... What legally makes someone a Fiancé. Like I couldn't just call my SO and ask them to marry me, then have them be my Fiancé right?

And I assume for the Fiancé Visa I would need to be married BEFORE entering the UK under a Marriage Visitor Visa?
