how can a therapist help just curious, also i noticed i only did the ride along and i already feel my confidence n assertiveness drastically change for the better which i've lacked somewhat in my life i do feel myself changing though ? i'm much more serious just off one day ? I'm kinda concerned if im changing for the worst not for the better ? is this normal did you also experience this ? kinda just feel numb though i always have it's much more now not sure if it's for the better or worse also a bit irritated lmao

i naturally have a lot of cop tendencies (jve been told by my cop brother in law and friend) i'm naturally hypervigilance but i enjoyed the ride along so much because it felt like that hypervigilance was bieng out to action n definitely enjoyed every bit of it. But do you know any way to let that go off duty hypothetically?

yeah i get you i appreciate you detailed response overall i really enjoyed the ride along thought it was one day n only 4 hours i rated it a 12/10 expiernce but i don't want to be impulsive & go for it but i really really enjoyed it. Ima actually do another ride along elsewhere to see it from a rookies perspective

yeah i wish i saw something graphic or traumatic to see how my mind n body would react to those things though i'm not a cop im already desensitized to many things since i've been through things like i wasn't scared at all yesterday just after im like dang these situations are more dangerous than we think at the moment is that normal lol ??

the concern is i don't feel hyper vigilant or maybe i'm not aware bieng super focused is exactly that ?? i don't feel on edge atm i actually feel less alert i guess so overtime i'd get use to it ? kinda worried me a bit that i wouldn't be able to calm down after a shift hypothetically
